Billy Jones: "Win Your Love" (Blue Elephant, 1974)
Billy Jones was an American singer who lived and recorded in the Netherlands, first as a member of Oscar Harris & the Twinkle Stars and later solo. I pulled out his Birds of the Sea album intending to rip one track and ended up getting sucked into the whole thing-- it's really good front to back. Hey Matt, I'm really enjoying your blog. I was wondering if it were possible for you to upload the entire Billy Jones album or, perhaps, point me in a direction where I can purchase his albums. Thanks for the hard work you put into all this!
Bobby, I frequently wrestle with the ethics of posting music on the blog and what I should or shouldn't post. I wish I could point you to a place the Billy Jones record was available, but I just don't feel okay about disseminating whole albums. Sorry.
Though I respect your reservations, I am at loss to think of anyone who might suffer as a result of your sharing the album. Billy Jones died in June 1982 and the album is out of print. I mean no disrespect, but would appreciate your thoughts on this matter.
